about

This is the first song that Encrypt wrote together as a group, back in the Spring of 2012. At that time they were jamming Rage Against the Machine, Hollywood Undead and Framing Handley's version of Lil' Wayne's "Lollipop." Lyrically inspired by the TV show True Blood's Vampire Jessica, who Jason (another character from the show) calls, "Dangerous" and expanded on to include some fictional relationship scenarios and reactions to those incidents. It may seem that the lyrics are perpetuating the “Eve” complex that women are evil but the truth is either sex can be dangerous and wreak havoc in a relationship, this is just one perspective. If you are in an abusive relationship or having thoughts about ending your life, please get help and know that life can get a lot better than it is for you now. The song was recorded on Dec. 1st, 2012 and will eventually be included on an EP to be recorded in the near future. After listening to the song a number of times, lead singer Troy recognized a couple of lines in the lyrics from another song he had heard years ago but decided to keep it anyway (see track credits below for more info on that). This song might be the only "rap core" song that Encrypt releases and then again, it might not be!? Wait and see. Thanks for your support!

lyrics

Dangerous – Encrypt

I’ve gotta warn ya, she’s dangerous
Proceed with caution, she’s dangerous
Dangerous for me
Dangerous you’ll see
Watch out she’ll destroy you!

(Troy’s Rap)
Dangerous, dangerous
This might be a warning but this is not a test
It’s a word of caution, more like an S.O.S.
A relationship may save you
But it could enslave you
Count on both to happen
You’ll get a reaction
They’re not all bad and some are so good
I’m just warnin’ / she’s dangerous, dangerous

I’ve gotta warn ya, she’s dangerous
Proceed with caution, she’s dangerous
Dangerous for me
Dangerous you’ll see
Watch out she’ll destroy you!

(Jordan’s Rap)
I’m about to take a verse / might be gifted, might be cursed
I need a shrink or a nurse / before I’m ridin’ in a hearse
Cause this chick got me stressin’ / with my life she been messin’
I be holding her caressin’ / but for others she`s undressin’
Yeah, I showed her sacrifice / I gave her my fucking life
But it never could suffice / so I’m standin’ with a knife
Should I stay or should I go / or should I rob the liquor store
And if you think that I got issues / fucker, you don’t even know
Because I’m attracted to her like a moth is to a flame
I gave her all my love and all she gave me back was pain
"I think he`s fuckin’ crazy"
No, I’m clinically insane / and I will be ‘til she makes me put a bullet in my brain...

I’ve gotta warn ya, she’s dangerous
Proceed with caution, she’s dangerous
Dangerous for me
Dangerous you’ll see
Watch out she’ll destroy you!

(Destroy...destroy...destroy...destroy!)

I’ve gotta warn ya, she’s dangerous
Proceed with caution, she’s dangerous
Dangerous for me
Dangerous you’ll see
Watch out she’ll destroy you!
